This year, a tonne of Marvel TV series has already been made available on Disney Plus. There are still more to come, including the next month’s debut of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, a Werewolf by Night Halloween special, and the year’s finale, The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special.
Even though a sizable portion of the 2022 schedule is still to come. The focus is already shifting to the Marvel material for which it will remember 2023. According to TVLine (opens in new tab), the Marvel television series lineup that will debut on Disney Plus in 2019 is beginning to take shape. And several of these shows are currently in the middle of development.
In 2023, get ready for major crossover events, new MCU characters, and possibly even a few returning heroes—or potentially returning anti-heroes. Please keep in mind that this is not an exhaustive list and that the timetable may vary during the next few months. But as of today, these are the Marvel TV programs that we anticipate airing on Disneyplus.com/begin in 2023.
Secret Invasion
However, Secret Invasion will bring together a tonne of well-known characters. Till now, the bulk of MCU TV Shows has either focused on a new character (Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel) or a team-up between two famous heroes (WandaVision, Falcon, and Winter Soldier).
Marie Hill (Cobie Smulders), Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), Talos (Ben Mendelsohn), Everett K. Ross (Martin Freeman), and James Rhodes aka War Machine will all appear in the six-part series (Don Cheadle). Also included are newcomers Kingsley Ben-Adir, Olivia Colman, and Emilia Clarke.
This is probably the most ambitious small-screen installment of the MCU to date, just based on the actor roster. It was initially planned for 2022 but was moved to 2023. We know it will center on the discovery that a sect of shape-shifting Skrulls has penetrated every facet of life on Earth.
Ironheart

Tony Stark may have tragically died in the MCU after the events of Avengers: Endgame, but he wasn’t the only human on Earth with the skills necessary to create a lethal suit of armor. A young inventor named Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne) enters the scene and manages to produce an iron suit that is on par with the best creations of Tony Stark.
Beyond its basic premise, not much is known about this series. But we do know that it will consist of six episodes. Based on the tone of Ms. Marvel and the character’s comic book background, Ironheart should be pretty similar. Avoid confusing this with Armor Wars, a different series that features James Rhodes, aka War Machine (Don Cheadle). And, that seems to push into 2024.
Echo

If you’ve watched Hawkeye, you’re probably already aware of Maya Lopez, who goes by the name Echo. In this series, Maya returns to her birthplace where she must confront her tangled past. And, reunite with her Native American heritage after tussling with Clint Barton and Kate Bishop.
While Daredevil (Charlie Cox), a.k.a. Matt Murdock, might not seem like the most thrilling MCU addition on paper. There is anticipation growing around this one because it has already been established that he will be present. After a brief appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Echo will presumably reintroduce the beloved character to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Loki Season 2

The God of Mischief, Loki, returns for another six-part time-traveling adventure. Making him the first Disneyplus.com/begin code Marvel TV series to receive a second season.
It should come as no surprise that Tom Hiddleston will reprise his role as the title character in Loki season 2. Continuing the story from the first season. Along with other familiar names like Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Eugene Cordero, and Owen Wilson, Sophia Di Martino also returns as Sylvie. Additionally, it suggests that this program might connect to the 2023 movie Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
Agatha: House of Harkness

Due to the success of Kathyrn Hahn’s portrayal of Agatha Harkness. The witch next door, in WandaVision, Disneyplus Begin code promptly ordered a spin-off series. Hahn’s comeback as Agatha is a given, although it is unknown if any other WandaVision cast members will appear. The possibility exists that this will be a prequel series that explores Agatha’s past. So don’t anticipate House of Harkness to be Agatha’s last appearance.
And there’s even more to come
Far from being an exhaustive list, the content from Marvel will be available on Disney Plus in 2023. Isn’t even included in the list above.
X-Men ’97, a continuation of the original X-Men animated series, and Marvel Zombies, a previously featured plot in an episode of What If…? but now getting its own fully developed series, are also planned for release in 2023. Additionally, production on Spider-Man: Freshman Year is still ongoing, and there are even rumors that What If…? might get a second season.
A whole slate of theatrical films, including the previously announced Ant-Man sequel, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and The Marvels. A collaboration between Captain Marvel and Ms. Marvel will be available alongside all this Disneyplus.com/begin url content. Consuming that much MCU in just one year is a lot.
Marvel Studios has recently been under fire for providing fans with too much content in too little time. And it doesn’t look like this problem will be remedied in 2023. A new MCU installment will definitely delight some fans, but for others. The emphasis on quantity at the expense of quality is quickly becoming a serious issue that Marvel has to solve quickly.
